Exams

Peak has 3 exam centres in Chester, Liverpool and Macclesfield.

If you study with Peak you can You can sit your exams at any Peak centre.

If you do not study with Peak you can sit exams at our centres in Liverpool or Macclesfield.

For Chester or Wrexham you can sit exams with Peak Assessment centre. You will need to book direct with them. See page below for details.

AAT now also offer the chance to sit exams remotely and Peak are able to organise this with you whether you study with us or not.

Apprenticeships

Peak Accountancy Training can support those working in an accountancy based role to complete an apprenticeship in accountancy alongside the AAT qualification at all levels.

An apprenticeship is a chance to study a nationally recognised qualification whilst you work and earn a wage.

  • Study towards the AAT qualification by attending our classroom courses
  • Work based visits from advisors to provide support on the courses whilst you are studying
  • Gain real world experience which will complement your studies, and help you to develop your skills in the workplace
  • Avoid debt from student loans and earn whilst you learn

How to study

Most of the courses we offer at Peak Accountancy Training can be delivered in a variety of formats. Live online courses, which are fully interactive live online courses. Basic Online Learning

Online courses provide the flexibility of study that many of us need to fit around our busy lives. Our courses are keenly priced but we still offer outstanding quality and service.

Live Online Learning

Our dedicated Live Online courses provide all the benefit of a classroom course without having to be in the classroom. Our online classes provide the structure of a weekly classroom course and are fully interactive. If you cannot attend a class they are also recorded so you can catch up, or use them to refresh your knowledge.

Classroom Based Learning

Classroom courses are run at our offices in Chester and Liverpool every week. We operate roll on, roll off progrmmes so there will always be a unit you are able to join. A full programme of courses is run at both of our centres every six Months.

How do I book?

You can book by using our online booking system or alternatively call the office on 01625 574856  or 07837 712510

How long do I have access to the online course?Can I extend my online studies?

You have access to each unit for 6 months from the date you are enrolled into the unit. Our recommended study planners range between 4 – 12 weeks. 6 months should give lots of opporutnity to successfully complete each unit. The option to extend access is also available for £50 for a further 6 months access. 

Can I extend my online studies?

You are given access to the online resources for a period of 6 months from the start of each unit. If you wish to extend this period then let us know and for £50 we can extend your study period.

Am I able to cancel my course?

If you change your mind, and wish to cancel your online course, you must cancel within 14 days of receipt of the materials.  If you wish to cancel an online course, please contact Peak and return all study materials in an unused condition. The full fee will be refunded once all study materials are returned in re-saleable condition within 14 days of receipt and your online course access will be removed.

Can I change my exam booking?

Exam bookings are non-refundable, and non-transferable, please ensure that dates and times are checked at the point of booking. 

Do I need to study the full level 2 accountancy to get my qualification?

The AAT qualification can be commenced at any level, 2, 3 or 4. Your entry level depends on your existing knowledge and experience. Essential knowledge to commence studies at level 3 accountancy are basic bookkeeping skills. These are learnt from the level 2 bookkeeping qualification. For a mature student with work experience, but not necessarily in finance or accountancy then the level 2 bookkeeping is an ideal way to gain those bookkeeping skills and progress onto the AAT qualification at level 3 more quickly.
